So, in an effort to increase general, non-gamer interest in my blog, I want to talk about SEX!
Just kidding.
Here are a few trivial things I like:
- Dipping things into other things before eating them.
- Movies that have an emotional impact, for a good reason rather than simple button-pushing.
- Watching TV shows a season at a time on DVD, rather than week-by-week.
- Not driving.
- Cheese on crackers (preferably Triscuits -- I'm not a cracker elitist).
- Making lists about things.
- Making self-referential meta-comments in the middle of my lists.
- Um...
Discuss!

I started to post a sentence that read something like everything revloves around sex.
I then proceeded to copy and paste each of your list items with a comment.
# Dipping things into other things before eating them.
-Hehe.
# Movies that have an emotional impact, for a good reason rather than simple button-pushing.
-Nothing with a plot fits this profile.
# Watching TV shows a season at a time on DVD, rather than week-by-week.
-That's what she said.
# Not driving.
. . . me insane with your intellect.
# Cheese on crackers (preferably Triscuits -- I'm not a cracker elitist).
-Code for something.
I then got bored by my lack of enthusiasm toward the project.
Here, think about this. Every atom in your body was created in the explosion of a super nova somewhere over billions of years.
Those atoms gathered in clouds, which formed the Milky Way, then the solar system, then the Earth. Your ancestors ate the atoms, which fueled their bodies and the zygotes left their bodies and eventually consumed more of the stardust until you came along.
Over a lifetime you have eaten the remnants of stars. And, obviously your junk still works because you have had kids, passing the culmination of 13 billion years of existence, the end result of which are your kids.
It reminds me of that Sting song, "Send Your Love" . . . into the future. Send your love into the distant dawn.
Everything is stardust . . .
Ever notice how Connan O'Brian looks like someone we all know?
I wonder if the black holes in the universe will suck up everything until there's nothing left and they start merging with one another.
Where will all the stardust go then? Where will all the Cheez Whiz go? Will the universe grow cold or will it blink out of existence?
Cheez Whiz - Hehe.
Here's what I like:
Self-referential humor.
I don't really know why I enjoy it. I think it may stem from films and books where the characters know they are only characters. The only time it's ever annoyed me is in the comic "Animal Man", and that was just because it was far too ponderous.
