Wow, that Didn't Take Long

Here I am, posting about Peruvian spiders forming gangs and terrorizing the countryside, when we have our own, vastly more horrible spider invasion right here in the good ol' USA.
Most spiders are solitary creatures. So the discovery of a vast web crawling with millions of spiders that is spreading across several acres of a North Texas park is causing a stir among scientists, and park visitors.

I don't know about you, but I get the feeling we're about to be subjected to some kind of nightmarish retribution from Mother Nature for causing global warming or inventing spray cheese.
